and this is exactly why I do this job…
Spring wedding ceremonies outdoors in Treaty Oaks Park in downtown Jacksonville, FL are so pretty. Home to the oldest tree in Jacksonville (more than 200 years) its branches spread out far and wide, and are so long and heavy that many rest directly on the ground. To give you perspective, this tree is larger than an office building.
Wedding ceremonies at the Haskell Building in downtown Jacksonville, FL (Duval County) located directly on the St. John’s river are always fun to do. The location is spectacular and it’s the only venue directly on the riverbank; it has the best view of Jacksonville from this perspective. With a gorgeous arch outside and a fabulous deco inspired setting inside, you couldn’t ask for a more lovely location to take your vows.
The extremely capable Karen Fritts runs the RiverFront Cafe which is the event arm for the facility and is just delightful to work with. A true pro, she oversees the management of your event leaving you to focus on more important things (like getting beautified.) Two wives, one husband, seven kids, a Great Dane and a whole lot of love at today’s ceremony as these lovely people took vows of commitment to each other. Polyamorous commitment ceremonies are as sweet as any I do, and it gives me great joy to make people’s dreams come true. Congratulations to my new friends who came all the way from Tennessee to have me perform this loving act for them.
