Providing wedding officiant services throughout Jacksonville, St. Augustine and Amelia Island, Florida, it is my pleasure to perform your marriage ceremony.
Here is the 30 second version explaining what I do as a wedding officiant for wedding ceremonies, vow renewals and gay weddings. (Note: for gay weddings, I am not filing a license for you.)
Every service I perform, I work closely with you to script a ceremony that meets your unique characteristics. You also get to choose a keepsake certificate that I customize especially for you. Both the script and the certificate are items you get proofs of and approve prior to the service. If you choose the package with the rehearsal meeting, I come meet with you that day and we block and tackle the ceremony together, either by ourselves or working with your wedding coordinator or venue planner. The day of the wedding, I arrive about 45 minutes early and collect your IDs and the marriage license to validate them. (Once you give me the marriage license you are done with it and will not see it again.) When the appointed time comes, I perform your ceremony. After the ceremony, I linger for a few minutes in case you want any pictures of me then make my goodbyes. It’s your day and there is no expectation on my part to be of your intimate family and friend time. The next business day ( sometimes it may take 2 days depending), I go file your license for you in the appropriate county (Duval, St. Johns, Nassau are my standard range- other out-of-area counties I file by trackable mail that requires someone to sign for it) and in about 7-10 days you get a letter from the State of Florida indicating they have recorded your marriage in their books.
